Iceland-Liechtenstein-Norway-grants

The project entitled “OPEN SEAS – Promotion and support of Roma children in summer camps” benefits with a co-financing amount of 199,460 euros from the EEA Grants (Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (2014-2021), which represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe, and from national resources.

 

THE PROGRAM

The EEA Grants represent Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway’s contribution to a green, competitive and inclusive Europe

 

GENERAL TARGETS

There are two general objectives: the reduction of economic and social inequalities in Europe and the strengthening of bilateral relations between the beneficiary countries and the 15 EU countries of Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics.

 

BENEFICIAL COUNTRIES

The three donor countries work closely with the EU under the European Economic Area (EEA) agreement. Donor countries have provided €3.3 billion through successive grant programs between 1994 and 2014. For the period 2014-2021, EEA Grants amount to 1.55€ billion.
